Welcome to Barbe Elementary School.   I am proud of Barbe Elementary School's strong tradition and commitment to our students, parents, and community.  I am committed to Barbe Elementary's mission, vision, core values and beliefs. 

We are committed to continuous improvement and have the following focus areas regarding our  school improvement plan; increasing proficiency in reading, math, science, and social studies in regards to standardized testing.  Also, we are committed to promoting a positive climate and culture for our school community, increasing communication with stakeholders, and developing student achievement opportunity.  

Our school is truly a community school.  Barbe Elementary School opened its doors as an institution of learning in 1948.  If you are new to our Patriot family, let me be the first to welcome you! We know that you will bring unique strengths, talents, and interests. We believe we offer an education and services that are second to none in Southwest Louisiana and that Barbe Elementary School is the school of choice.  

I have been apart of the Patriot family for over 10 years and I ask that all stakeholders(students, parents, community) get involved and stay engaged with us as we continue to educate, and in partnership with our families, help grow our fine young scholars to be Responsible, Accountable, and Motivated.
